Cat`s Cradle Hancock
Hancock is quite the goofbag, even though he is 4 years old and should be considered a fully grown male, he often behaves like a silly youngster.
He is open to all kind of humans now, but when he was younger he was quite misstrustring towards strangers.
Hancock is our alarm-system, he will be the first to smell, see or in general recognise something, he is quite “alert” and see`s it as his personal job to guard the property.
Since he was a puppy he has shown that he isnt very fond of other intact males that cross his path. As silly as he can act with humans, puppies (we call him the big uncle – they can even bite his testicles and he lets them!), neutered males and females, he is equally serious when he feels an intact male will challenge him.
Due to his physical strength, he should never be underestimated. This is the reason we have not yet bred him – despite the fact that he is the embodiment of the physical breed standard. We believe that he will require a well balanced female to be paired with. Not to mention potential puppy owners who are both willing and able to have this level of intensity and energy in their lives!
Hancock has a great nose, and a huge prey drive. This is coupled with a great will to please and to work as a team with his humans, making him a truly great working dog.
