My personal experience with this breeder has been excellent! I put myself on the waiting list a year in advance. During this year I talked to Tina over and over again about different topics like, my other animals, transportation, nutrition, training. ... and so much more. Every conversation was pleasant and Tina was more than ready to answer my billions of questions. She has always been honest with me, helping me make the entire transport process as easy as possible for Dr No and me. This litter is absolutely great and the culmination of my experience! We were always kept up to date through photos, information about the development and personalities of the puppies. When my puppy landed in Denver, I knew straight away that all of Tina's efforts were worth it! This 10 week old puppy was confident, healthy, well socialized, and house trained! He is a typical representative of this breed and already shows his working characteristics very clearly. I am incredibly happy with this experience and hope to keep in touch with Tina and Phoenix Rising Catahoulas! We have had two amazing dogs off of Tina. not only have they been fantastic members of our family but also had a beautiful litter of puppies themselves. Tina has become a friend, giving advice and support through the birth and raising of our pups and the on-going training of our dogs. She is one of the good guys and genuinely cares about the breed and her offspring. If you are looking for an intelligent and beautiful working dog then you won't find better ... if you are looking for a blue leopard dog because of their looks only, then you should probably inquire elsewhere

We are excited about Tina, who is an excellent breeder and dog trainer. The puppies are raised with so much love and care and receive the best possible treatment for a future in their new home. Both of our dogs from Tina's litter are exactly what a Catahoula should be. We were really lucky with this dog, and we owe that to our breeder Tina. She lovingly looked after all the puppies, and also observed the little ones intensively during their first few weeks of life and studied their behavior in order to choose the perfect puppy for us. Long before Spitfire was in heat and pregnant, we had been in close contact with Tina so that she could get an idea of us and our way of life. She told us that all of this is very important in order to be able to choose the right puppy. When Spitfire was finally pregnant, we were always informed directly about all the news, so that you never had the feeling of missing anything, even if you lived about 650 km away. Even now that Jinx lives with us, Tina doesn't care about her. The size, weight and well-being of the dog are regularly asked, and we are always busy sending photos to Tina so that she can be sure that little Jinx has come into good hands. We are particularly happy about that, because Tina is still available to us if we have any questions or problems. We never feel annoying or as its the wrong time to contact her. She is always there if we need her in any way. This is important for new Catahoula owners and one of the reasons why we chose Tina as our breeder.

After many years with beagles from the drag hunt pack and a first acquaintance with Catahoulas a year ago on a farm in Chile, Bonny from Tina is with us now! First a stick of dynamite on four paws, with the help of Tina, who shares her enormous knowledge of dogs and who is always on hand to help and advice, she is now well on the way to becoming a really manageable dog. Obedient, but always ready to be "turned on" and to demonstrate their impressive ability to learn or their impulsiveness. A Catahoula, like the ones we loved as farm dogs.

When I came across the Catahoula leopard dog about 3 years ago, I was immediately interested in this breed. After extensive research on the Internet, I came across Tina Profitt. During a phone call she explained the breed to me again and told me that you can decide whether you want a bitch or a male, but that the respective dog is chosen by her and not allowed to be chosen by you. That was the reason that Tina does not want these wonderful dogs to be bought only because of a certain look, but that they get owners who are simply interested in the type of dog and since it is a working dog he also comes into families that can handle it. After 4 weeks you should come to see the puppies and during this personal conversation Tina asked us exactly what we want such a dog for, what our environment is like and whether we have dog experience. She didn’t embellish anything about the breed in the conversation and made it very clear to you that this is not a simple and easy-to-train breed. She wanted to prepare people completely for the high level of responsibility one has with such a dog, so that there would not be a nasty awakening when the puppy gets bigger. I was totally impressed by how confidently she conducts the conversations, although she knows that some people will jump out of the way when you address problems so directly. It was most important to her that none of her dogs fall into inexperienced hands. Their rearing from hygiene to socialization was exemplary. Now that we have had this wonderful dog for 3 years, I can understand why Tina pays so much attention to where her puppies go. I think it's absolutely fantastic that I was lucky enough to come across such a breeder. She has all the knowledge about this breed and knows exactly what to watch out for. She is also always available to help and advise if there are problems. When you first got to know Tina and Barton Profitt and their dogs, you noticed that the breeders are not only very competent, but that they put a lot of passion into it. To this day they have always had an open ear for the development of Phoenix Rising Cutback aka Buck, our "work machine" as we like to call it. Buck is not only a great addition to our family, but also does a great job as a riding companion or in tracking. We also hunt him for wild boar and sweat, his absolute "will to please", with an ingenious work attitude make him an absolutely indispensable helper in difficult situations. However, consistent upbringing and utilization is the key to success.

Dear Tina, we are very grateful to you. With our Ruger we have the best dog you can imagine! From the first day on, you supported us with your knowledge and are always at our side with words and deeds, and helped us tremendously with training too. You can easily tell how much passion there is behind your puppy rearing, as the puppies are noticeably prepared for their new life in order to master all that comes their way confidently. With Ruger we have not only gained a family member, but also a loyal hunting companion. Due to his balanced nature, he is a part of our life in every situation. But also thanks to his persistent will to work, we have already been able to record many successes with him, especially in hunting wild boar and red deer. We are very proud of him and that he is part of this breed.

Moon is still a dog full of power, always ready and always has a lot of love to give the world. Sometime he's crazy and his emotions erupt but once he will be grown up, he will calm down more and use the brain during the work he does. Running is his big love, coursing and track race are activity special for him but he's very strong and likes pulling, hiking, running in the mountain. for sure is a great dog for many of activity and works. He working with smell too- is good on blood tracking. He loves spend time with people, play and doing something. Big events or competitions, place with many of people, animals aren't a problem for him. He can walking with big group and living with pack of dogs, isn't type of full dominat at home but he's very self confident and can take care about his place and people. Perfect dog but only for people who understand his needs and full of energy nature. Moon is a muscular dog, has really beautiful, proportional big head, full dental, scissors bite, brillantely hear (BAER + / +), is free from dysplasia (HD A ED 0/0), merle tested as am / Mc +. still waiting on DM results. Oficialy is a stud dog, had a beautiful 10 babies, all with full dental, scissors bite, BAER + / +, without any defects at age 7 months old

My girlfriend and I have always had dogs from birth, but we learn new things every time and are amazed at how little it actually takes to raise our four-legged friends in a species-appropriate and sustainable manner. Tina advised us from the beginning, even before the birth of our Hunter, helped us to choose the right puppy for us and gave us tips on training from day one, but also gave us excellent advice on nutrition, vaccinations and dog accessories. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tina and look forward to many more years of advice, from which friendship has now developed.

We have a dog from Tina (or Phoenix Rising Catahoulas) and we're very happy with him. He is a great dog for sports and working. Mostly we practice canicross together, and he will keep on running and pulling for quiet a lot of miles without any distractions and losing his pleasure and focus in running. What we like the most that he is an independent dog who likes to work with and for me. Could not have wished for a better dog.
